Inexpensive nuclease usable during cell lysis (with properties equivalent to Benzonase Nuclease (EMD Merck)).
It is a low-cost, highly active nuclease that can digest both DNA and RNA. It can be used for the degradation of host nucleic acids during protein production in E. coli and to reduce the viscosity of solutions containing nucleic acids.
